Top 10 Reasons why we need to conserve resources
Land, raw materials and fossils are our natural resources. They developed into their full form when left untouched by human beings in the shade of nature. Each and every resource is essential for living beings, be it humans or trees we all use these resources for our selfish purposes. Many of the natural resources are important for our survival. But lately it has been noticed that our natural resources are vanishing slowly because of the way we human beings are using or say misusing our natural resources.
We need to conserve these natural resources before; they vanished totally which will for sure have a huge effect on our lives. We need to conserve, protect and secure our natural resources.
We need conserve resources because they are the main source of the daily needs, and they are limited. We have to protect it because if there will be no natural resources, no us will be there.
God made us and these natural resources too, and we are here to use them but in a good manner. Therefore, it is our moral duty to conserve them.
No natural resources mean no food, which means no life. Natural resources are needed to be conserving for our better present and future.
Here I am giving you ten reasons why we need to conserve resources
- IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN ECOLOGICAL BALANCE
Forest is one of our natural resources, if cutting of forest will keep increasing by this rate, there will be no tree soon, and no tree means no oxygen would be there, and no oxygen means no us or any other species. As we all know, each and every species is important for or ecological system. In order to balance or ecological system, we should have to pay or take serious action to save the forest. Less number of trees means less rain falls which will harm our water cycle. Forest conservation is necessary for our better future and present. Plantation of trees also decrease heat or say global warming. More forest means are more peaceful life.
- FOR OUR FUTURE GENERATION
These natural resources are the heritage we have received from our ancestors’ and just like they have left this heritage for us it is our moral duty to left these things for our upcoming generation, just like as we will left our wealth for our children’s and grandchildren’s leaving a green earth is what essential for them. So that they can also enjoy and use the resources we are using
- NO PETROL
Petrol is one of our natural resources; rate of petrol is increasing day by day due the high use of petrol. We should start conserving it for our future generation. They too have a right to use these resources.
- MEDICINES/ MEDICAL AID
In this era of science where almost each and every disease can be cure, there are medicines which are consume from forests, i.e., natural resources. The number of medicines and herbs we can derive from plants extracts is countless, and even science has proved it that these medicines which can only be obtain by thick trees present in forests. There are a number of trees which still are left untouched; therefore, chances are that there are medicines and herbs present which can cure some incurable diseases of the present. That is why if we haven’t paid attention towards forest conservation soon there will be no herbs and medicine.
- NO WATER
If we keep increasing water pollution by this rate, we will have no water to drink in the near future then.
Water is the basic need of us human beings as well as other species. Everybody will die if no water to drink will be there we have to protect water resources as well as try our best to reduce the amount of pollution of water.
- Oxygen Providers and Carbon Absorbers
We all know that we human beings are nothing without oxygen, and the only provider of oxygen is our trees which are our most important resource and as we all know growing trees absorb carbon Dioxide and store it in their roots, trunks, forest soils and leaves for future fossil purposes. Carbon Dioxide absorbed by trees stays for thousand and thousand years in the form of wood and fossil that is why living trees is an essential part of our ecosystem.
- FOSSIL
It took thousands of years just to produce a few fossils. Fossil now a day becomes our basic need, our ancestor used fossil, in a way, that it can’t be destroyed and left a huge amount of fossils for us, and we here are abusing it more than using it. We should keep it in mind that fossils are important for us and our future. We need to protect as well as conserve it.
- FUELS
There are more types of fuel except petrol too, and not only petrol but every other kind of fuel is what we need and use. And if we want to keep using these fuels, we have to conserve it and start using it properly in a perfect and easeful manner.
- HOME TO PEOPLE
In order to satisfy our selfish need we cut down forests, which not only harm our ecosystem, but is home to many other people, which we destroyed for our needs and with that we also destroy a chance to use these resources in the future. There are three hundred million people around the world, living in the forest actively and also depends on forest for their food resource, livelihoods, medicines and source of jobs. The number of people depends on forest for their living is more than 1.6 million according to the report of FAO. About ten million people are having jobs in forest departments. 60 million people solely depend on forest in every aspect. We cultivate the wood for the furniture we use from forests, wood for fireworks purposes and papers.
10. BECAUSE IT IS NECCESARY
Last but not the least conserving our natural resources is necessary not for future only, but for our today also. We entirely depend on these natural resources. For better living, we have to improve our lifestyle and instead of abusing natural resource just use it properly.
