Ingredients needed to prepare tomato puree are:
- Tomatoes – 4 to 5 medium sized.
- Vinegar – 1/4 tsp.
- Sugar – 1/4 tsp.
- Salt – 1/8 tsp (optional) – I didnt add
If you want to make it in large amount then follow this quantity measurement:
- Tomatoes – 1 kg.
- Vinegar – 1/2 cup.
- Sugar – 1/2 cup.
- Salt – 1/2 tbsp.
Process of making the tomato puree:
- Take desire quantity of tomatoes.
- Wash all the tomatoes carefully before using them for the puree.
- Now make cut at their bottom in form of plus sign.
- Now take a pan and heat it over the gas stove.
- Insert water in it and full it with water.
- Now wait until the water is boiling.
- As the water is boiled, insert tomatoes one by one in it and leave tomatoes for at least five minutes.
- As the tomatoes are boiled, pick them out in a pan.
- Now disbark the skin of tomatoes and follow this for all tomatoes.
- Now squash whole tomatoes one by one and remove their seeds carefully.
- As you have removed seeds of whole tomatoes, put tomatoes in a food grinder.
- Now grind the tomatoes, until it won’t get converted into the paste.
- Now filter the paste in a jar and remove the filtered material.
- Your tomato puree is ready to use.
