You should avoid residing the pooja room in south side of the home or in south east side of your home because these are considered as the place of agni and Yam. Even your pooja room should also not be in your bedroom because this area of house is said to be the space of couple’s personal life. You should always position the pooja room in the north east side of the home. This is also very important to avoid showing legs toward the pooja room. You should avoid to position near the toilet also because it is the reason of negative energy in home.

You should also avoid to held the pooja room near the kitchen, if there is no option, then you have to store the whole food at some distance from the pooja stand. If you have a big plot or apartment, then you should prepare the pooja room into the center of your house. Try to make the upper side of the pooja room in pyramid shape. So these all things was related to the vastu shastra for the Pooja room.
